Oracle Corporation 11/2000 - Present

My first project back at Oracle was to build a web database to
hold information about all of the Oracle offices worldwide including
facility and helpdesk data. The next project included full testing of
various thin-client solutions including Tarantella and Win2K Terminal Services.
The Tarantella project included proposing feature changes, setting up
a test environment, running multiple pilots, supporting the users during
the tests, creating step by step documentation for both users and for installation.

AT&T ENS (CERFnet) Security Architect - 06/2000 - 10/2000

As security architect I was responsible for security on managed customer
machines. This includes keeping up to date on security patches, working
to track attacks, implementing IDS solutions and documenting everything.

AT&T ENS (CERFnet) Tier II Systems Administrator - 10/1999 - 05/2000

My duties include DNS administration, sendmail setup and maintenance,
minor CGI programming and troubleshooting of managed customer’smachines
Technologies included Solaris, Linux (RedHat 6.1), Windows NT server 4,
sendmail 8.9.3, bind 8.X, VNC and unix shell.

Oracle Corp - Infrastructure Systems Engineer - 10/1998 -– 6/1999 In this position my duties include maintaining several UNIX
machines, helping out others in my group and troubleshooting desktop and
laptop systems and evaluation of new technologies including ghosting software.
On a daily basis I use Solaris, Linux, Windows 95, NT, MS Office, Ghost
(client), C-shell, Samba, Remedy Action Request System, VNC and Apache.

SoftAware - Unix Administrator - 3/1998 - 6/1998 My primary duties included maintaining the DNS servers, installing new
servers for clients and handling emergencies as they appeared. I used
CVS, BIND 8, rsync and both RedHat and Slakware Linux on a daily basis.

Unique Business Systems - 8/1997 - 3/1998 My duties included testing of a UNIX based POS system, finding and
reporting UNIX related problems with the product and UNIX Administration.
I also assisted MIS with network security and intranet web development.

Internet Specialties West - 7/1995 - 8/1997 My duties included management, billing, customer service and MIS originally.
As I hired on more staff, I was able to concentrate on UNIX Administration,
network security and management duties. During my time at ISWEST we grew
from 1 to 6 employees and from 107 to 520 customers.

CompUSA - Corporate Billing Clerk - 7/1993 - 7/1995 My duties included billing to corporate accounts, providing information
to customers via the in-store helpdesk, setup machines, routed calls when
operator was not available and assisted pricing and availability with sales.

Radio Shack - Retail Sales - 6/1992 - 7/1993 I held 3rd in a region of 27 stores for outstanding sales for 1993.
I reconfigured Radio Shack audio video centers after the stores were
remodeled. I configured and handled troubleshooting for Tandy computers.

Certifications: Dell Premier Access Certification. Completed the
Cisco ICND training. Also completed ZDU classes in Administration and
PERL courses for continuing education credit.

Interests: Japanese (anime, language, culture), driving, computers/Internet/Linux
