Skye has not visited his cage in over a week since he flew away. The only information I have that leads me to believe he’s alive and well is that many birds that live nearby seem to have picked up a lovebird call since his dissapearance. Normally birds will only pickup sounds if they hear them repeatedly, so I believe he’s alive and not too terribly far away (within 1/2 mile). I’m not going out of my way to find him at this point since he’s making an effort to not return and I’m not sure how “friendly” he would be at this point anyway and if he could be tamed again. He still is welcome to return and his cage will be waiting for him outside for a while longer so he can return if he wants to.
