Oldies make the best…

Oldies make the best “Thinking of you” CDs, don’t ya think?

(no, they’re not on the CD in alphabetical order)

Delfonics - Hey there lonely girl
Drifters - Love Potion #9
Drifters - Under the Boardwalk
Everly Brothers - All I have to do is dream
Everly Brothers - Wake up little suzy
Four Tops - Ain’t no woman like the one I got
Jimmer Rogers - Kisses Sweeter than wine
Marvin Gaye - How sweet it is (to be loved by you)
Michael McDonald - Ain’t No Mountain High Enough
Queen - Fat bottomed girls
Steely Dan - You’re still the one
Van Morrison - Brown Eyed Girl
Van Morrison - Moon dance

I know Little Suzy doesn’t sound like it fits, but just take some of the lyrics like “what are we gonna tell our friends when they say oh-la-la” etc.. work with me here.

Old skool…

Ok, so Kristin just posted about old things like .plan files and using “talk” on unix systems.. I feel the need to post as well :)

I just received a PCjr from ebay. Yes, the old IBM PCjr, 4.77MHz, 128K ram (this one is expanded to 256k though), they added the printer port to this one too. I’ve already got it hooked up to the 32″ TV and the stereo system plus have been streaming video of it to various friends.. Next step.. network the PCjr! I hope to be able to get a 5.25″ drive for one of my other machines so I can actually copy files to a disk that the PCjr can read.

Soon I will post screen shots and other fun things here
