<description>I was thinking about radio today when access to my CDs was blocked by a 17 inch monitor I was taking to my parents place.

Anyway, I think any reason I *did* listen to a certain radio station is because I knew what genre of music to expect from them. When I listen to mp3s, its random random random, which can be nice, but I never really listen by genre. Flip on the radio, and wallah! Genre music!

If more radio stations switch to Jack's format, why would I EVER stay listening to any one station when I can flip all over the place once I get sick of that ONE decent song they played?

Dunno, just seems pretty short-sighted to me. But this coming from a guy that doesn't really listen to radio anymore anyway :)
