I never mind people having the option to speak their mind or having a discussion, it's when the single comment is made without any discussion that it's simply wrong.

I couldn't agree more, we all have our own opinions and points of view, however a little respect for someone that has an opposing one always works wonders.

Personally, I feel that it has alot to do with one's upbringing - I remember from an early age being taught that it was incredibly bad manners to discuss Politics, Religion and Money in mixed company - so I guess when it comes down to the crunch the person that spouted so eloquently has the manners of a warthog.

I find more and more that I delve into the realm of "devil's advocate" nowadays because it amuses me to see people get so riled up about something that I probably will never agree with, but they insist on pushing that envelope. I respect their right to believe in whatever the hell they want, and moreoften than not I wont raise an eyebrow about it unless they question my own beliefs and make issue of them.

So ya darling, i'm with you on the annoyance, the only suggestion I can make is to ignore the comment and realise that money certainly doesn't breed manners and he's a walking example of this.
